We hope this covers any other questions/concerns you may have that weren't answered
Within reason of course. You can't be firing off guns everywhere, you can't have sewage leaking all over the place. we ask that you use common sense. You have lots of building options, crown land is nearby for hunting and you're free to do most things on your property. Local and regional laws do still apply
One of the closest, recognizable locations is Thunder Bay, Ontario. We won't disclose the exact location just yet. We don't want everyone and their mother showing up looking to rent, due to limited space availability. Renters will receive the coordinates and directions with their move in date
We plan on a spring move in date. All renters will receive move in dates and directions closer to spring 2022
Absolutely. Your lot is 100% yours after five years in the program. We give you the deed and you now longer have to pay rental fees
Community fees and hours are an obligation for the five year duration. After you own your lot, it's your choice whether to continue in the community program. However, exiting the community program will also end any community use or benefit as well
Absolutely. The lot is now yours. Legally you do need to mention about community fees and hours, as access to entry may be limited if not in the program.
Whatever you choose to build, we want you to be safe. We are on unorganized land, so you're free to build what you want. No trailer bylaws either.

Not in the slightest. While we encourage being social and participating in activities, in the common areas, it is not mandatory. The option for being social is there, while allowing you your own space.
While there are predators like black bears, wolves and coyote. Initially it would be the same risk as back country camping. We encourage a good shelter to start and have measures that will be implemented to deter these animals. We want everyone to feel as safe and secure
We don't need to know and will never ask.
